Toddler Program

The program offers professional childcare and an early childhood education with introduction to the Montessori philosophy & methodology for children 16 months to 2 ½ years of age. Our toddler classroom ratio is 1 teacher to 5 toddlers. Our teachers are committed to providing quality care. The program’s mandate is to provide a nurturing environment where children develop physically, mentally, emotionally and intellectually.

6:30 am — 9:00 am – Before School Care
9:00 am — 10:45 am – Montessori Circle, Montessori work time Snack is served, Washroom routine
10:45 am — 12:00 am – Outside Time
12:00 pm — 12:45 pm – Lunch is served, Washroom Routine
12:45 pm — 2:30 pm – Naptime
2:30 pm — 3:00 pm – Washroom Routine, Snack is served
3:00 pm — 4:00 pm – Outside Time, Dismissal of full day students
4:00 pm — 6:00 pm – After School Care

Casa Program

A Montessori environment is prepared for children from the age of 2 ½ to six years, together in one class, with materials appropriate for each level. The Casa classroom ratio is 8 children to 1 teacher. Children accomplish their goals and work independently by gaining confidence and practice in a particular skill. This classroom focuses on all five areas of the classroom: Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language and Cultural.

6:30 am — 9:00 am – Before School Care
9:00 am — 10:45 am – Montessori Circle, Montessori work time, Snack is served
10:45 am — 12:00 pm – Outside Time
12:00 pm — 12:45 pm – Lunch is served, Washroom Routine

Before & After School Program

M.E.Y. offers a Before (6:30 am – 9:00 am) and After School Program (3:00 pm – 6:00 pm) serving the diverse needs of families for extended care. This program incorporates the characteristics of a Montessori environment such as freedom of choice, respect, exploration, movement and consistency. Teachers provide age-appropriate organized games and activities, offering a great time for children who are preparing for or ending their day at M.E.Y.

M.E.Y provides a busing service for our Before and After school children. We currently pick up and drop off students from the following Elementary schools:
